Transform your home into a comfy and oh-so-cozy winter wonderland this holiday season with these holiday decor tips:
🍓Berry tones are surfacing as the yuletide’s color palette of choice. Pair shades of raspberry, plum, and grape with accessories that feature other metallic detailing.
🎄Have the Christmas cards you receive do double duty: 1) Let them bring a smile to your face, and 2) Display them in your Christmas tree as a complement to your ornaments.
🍬Want to add some cheer to the kid’s wing of the house? Use candy, photos, and their prize ribbons from this year to make garland or ornaments for a pint-sized tree.
☕️Transform a small side table in the dining room or kitchen into a hot beverage bar with tabletop trees, a customized wood sign, cute cups, and an assortment of warm drinks.
🌲Good things come in small packages! Hang mini wreaths on each of your upper kitchen cabinets. Loop ribbon to make hanging a cinch.
🍾Raid the recycling bin for a new set of festive candlesticks (i.e. empty wine bottles). Just replace the labels with wrapping paper and ribbon before adding candles.
🎅Be on the lookout for the Christmas gonk. A festive accessory, these little figurines with long bushy beards and knitted hats were extremely popular in 2020. (Nicole @envycrochetshop makes these and they are amazing!)
Part of what I love about this time of year is decorating my home for family and friends to enjoy — I hope you'll join me!☃️🎄🔔
